Destress Your Spine.

Looking for a great way to relieve tension and untie those knots that we hang onto throughout the day? Is it time to let them unravel, fall where they may and finally allow ourselves to carry on and move forward?

If the answer is yes, you need a spine distress!

I always try to find ways to stay well through small movements like these ones. They can be done anywhere and don't take long at all - we just have to remember to do them.

Relaxation is a huge part of our health and if we don't allow ourselves the time we need to decompress before taking on even more, we are not just running the risk of illness, we are ensuring it.

Here’s how Susannah suggests we can help our spines;

1.> Stand with your right sole on a chair.

2.> Put your left hand on your right knee.

3.> Twist your shoulder back and let the spine follow.

4.> Exhale, and turn a bit more.

5.> Inhale back to the center and repeat on the other side.
From the book, 1001 Ways to Relax’ by Susannah Marriot

While you’re doing this, I suggest imagining how you want to see your life moving forward. What do you want to happen? Create it in your mind and think positively on it. Thoughts become things, so we want the most positive thoughts working for us at all times.

De-stressing any part if ourselves works in our favor toward wellness. Enjoy a quick tension reliever anytime you choose – all you need is a chair, and the right attitude.

Rock your day!
