Destress Your Spine.

Looking for a great way to relieve tension and untie those knots that we hang onto throughout the day? Is it time to let them unravel, fall where they may and finally allow ourselves to carry on and move forward?

If the answer is yes, you need a spine distress!

I always try to find ways to stay well through small movements like these ones. They can be done anywhere and don't take long at all - we just have to remember to do them.

Relaxation is a huge part of our health and if we don't allow ourselves the time we need to decompress before taking on even more, we are not just running the risk of illness, we are ensuring it.

Here’s how Susannah suggests we can help our spines;

1.> Stand with your right sole on a chair.

2.> Put your left hand on your right knee.

3.> Twist your shoulder back and let the spine follow.

4.> Exhale, and turn a bit more.

5.> Inhale back to the center and repeat on the other side.
From the book, 1001 Ways to Relax’ by Susannah Marriot

While you’re doing this, I suggest imagining how you want to see your life moving forward. What do you want to happen? Create it in your mind and think positively on it. Thoughts become things, so we want the most positive thoughts working for us at all times.

De-stressing any part if ourselves works in our favor toward wellness. Enjoy a quick tension reliever anytime you choose – all you need is a chair, and the right attitude.

Rock your day!

Something to Ponder - Volume I

I have lists - files and folders filling with tidbits of information that I want to share with the world. Instead, I intend to get it posted here, in whatever format I can muster, for your learning enjoyment.

Thing #1: "Eating: The Movie" is a must see so be sure to add it to your list of DVD's to watch soon!
This movie really helped me to understand how deluded my thinking about food had gotten.  I recommend it!

Thing #2:  Silicone Gel Implants cause autoimmune diseases.

Seriously.

Ask Pamela Anderson.

Thing #3: Positive Thinking can heal.  I know this to be 100% true. Interested? Email me, we'll chat.

Thing #4: Cancer thrives in a low oxygen environment. Lack of fresh air causes low oxygen in the body - so get out there and move yours!

Thing #5: Prednizone: This is the latest drug of choice. It causes autoimmune disease, peptic ulcers, mental psychosis, bone softening, easy fractures, excessive facial hair, acne, metabolic disturbances and an inability to process fats.

Thing #6: The ALUMINUM in antacids seems to lead to ALS.

Thing #7: Multiple Sclerosis sufferers experienced great success by increasing water intake and eliminating dairy, meat and sugars.

Thing #8: Alzheimer's. The adult human brain weighs 3.5 pounds when hydrated properly. Our brains are made up of 85% water. When we neglect ourselves and do not take in sufficient water, our brains can weigh as little as 10 ounces.

Alzheimers is said to be caused by an extreme lack of hydration, yet patients are given diuretics, removing the much needed water.

Thing #9: When we don't drink enough water, our body can't make enough serum to produce blood volume.

We all need blood, so getting enough water is something to be sure we do!

Thing #10: You're awesome - thanks for stopping by today!

Chakra Clearing & Balancing

In case there was any doubt, I love exploring wellness. Thankfully I live in the age of the world wide web and can access tonnes of information whenever I feel like it. Day, night, noon - I can sit, surf and learn. The internet can be like school if you don't get too caught up posting pictures of cats all day long.....am I right?

So, one of the places I like to hang out is YouTube. Type in any old thing and you're bound to find an interesting video posted about it. I feel like I'm settling in and viewing something that will really help me shape my life for the better. Sure, I can spend days and weeks laughing at silly animal bloopers, and sometimes I do - but my focus is on learning.

The information is there - soak up the good stuff!

In my searches I've found so many terrific posts, and I thought I'd share this one by 'MeditationsforMoms' - also known as Lisa Beachy. She is a spiritual intuitive and she has posted a really relaxing video for Chakra clearing, healing and balancing. All that in 13:41!

I sit through this video every second day, in the mornings. It helps me focus, start my day in a non-chaotic way. It really sets the tone for whatever comes next.

OK - enough chatter. I know you're itchin' to try it yourself. Let me know how it goes!
